APS maintains museum standard techniques for long term preservation while using design to enhance the artwork’s aesthetic. Our services include complete custom framing using modern materials to restoring existing frames. We begin with one of the largest frame selections available, enabling us to accommodate all tastes and budgets. Framing has a remarkable effect on an artworks long-term preservation as well as the way the art is experienced. Poor framing techniques and materials are a significant cause to items in need of restoration. We also restore antique frames, replacing outdated materials in order to ensure the proper protection. Our custom framers are technicians with a twofold responsibility; construct a decorative, well-crafted frame to enhance the art while at the same time protecting the art against the effects of time and environment.
